nastics

kenny takes sloane to "nastics" every monday. She is so bad for that one hour that we often question.. Are we really paying for this?? Answer: we certainly are. There is bucking, hijinks, and shenanigans to boot. Mostly though, there is not listening and crying. We have her going to swimming twice a week too. As I type this it sounds a bit overscheduled. She really likes it though. (the swimming) She can now put her face in the water like a "rockadile" and has no fear about jumping in.

She will officially be two and a half on tuesday and the very thought of this breaks my heart. I am taking her tomorrow for pictures to hand out to the grandmas for mother's day. The picture taking trip is always interesting.

She has become so much fun. Her little personality is really strong and stubborn. She runs everywhere she goes and declares her feelings readily. She is starting to show some empathy towards others and seems to really get the meaning behind time out.

As for the potty.. that is a definite no-go. She will continue to deficate in her diaper until it is time for kindergarten. I only hope that they make diapers big enough.
